First of all, what do I even mean when I say I’m an artist?

I mean that I’m a producer looking to create original material with talented vocalists. It’s that simple.

When you see “artist,” think about everything that you would see on my Apple Music or Spotify page. It’s my work featuring other people.

The reality of being a producer is that I need other people to be the voices of my music, so contacting me about working with me under my artist tab means that you’re saying, “I think I’m a good fit for your Wes White brand, and I want to put myself out there to be considered for a feature.”

Working with the artist version of Wes White means that the song credits are always going to read Wes White featuring YOU.

I won’t lie, vocalists who already have an established brand, fan base, and career goal will always be ideal; but what matters most to me is that you have a unique vocal identity that meshes well with the Wes White sound and a passion for success.

If your voice captures the essence of what I’m personally trying to convey as an artist to a bigger audience then we can work together. Maybe that means you’ve been doing Top 40 covers on YouTube for two years now just waiting for the right person to notice and you’re ready to level up and get recognized on a bigger level. We can work together because that tells me that you want this just as badly as I do.

If you are willing to be a professional from the moment our pens hit paper for the first lyric through the final take of the studio recording then we can work together. Can you take your lyrical content seriously in terms of creativity and uniqueness? Can you write with purpose and structure? Can you execute the perfect vocal take in a professional studio? Are you mentally tough enough to push through the inevitable adversity of writing the best song you can? Then we can work together.

In short, if you are willing to enter into my vision then we can work together. Remember that expressing interest in my artist feature means that you want to be a part of what I’m doing. If you’re looking for a collab, there’s another tab for you and that’s totally fine. But if you’re here and ready to send me all the reasons you’re ready to be a part of this, keep in mind always that this is Wes White. I don’t mean to be exclusive, but this isn’t about you. This is about the bigger Wes White brand.

You should choose me because I’m moving forward in the music industry. I’m going places and the next place I’ll be is the next best place.

And I don’t say that in the slightest to appear overly confident, but I do ferociously believe in my music and the arrangement of sounds I’m able to create. I’m going to make it sooner or later.

So you can either choose to be a part of this “from the beginning” or you can bow out because you’re not convinced my social media game is impressive enough to warrant an email of expressed interest.

If it’s not you it’ll be the next person, and I can’t help but think that next person won’t be living with any regrets.
